This is so tasty, I found it hard to believe it was just 3 ingredients

Step 1: Preheat the Oven
Set your oven to 425°F (220°C).

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.

Step 2: Prepare the Apples
Peel, core, and quarter the apples (you should have 8 quarters total).

In a small saucepan, add enough water to cover the apple quarters.

Bring the water to a gentle simmer and cook the apples for 4–5 minutes, just until they start to soften.

Drain the apples well.

While still warm, toss the apple quarters with 1/3 cup sugar to coat them evenly.

Set aside to cool slightly.

Step 3: Prepare the Puff Pastry

On a lightly floured surface, unfold your 2 sheets of puff pastry.

Cut each sheet into 6 equal rectangles — you’ll end up with 12 pieces total.

You’ll use 6 bases and 6 tops for the Danishes.

Step 4: Assemble the Apple Danishes

Take one pastry rectangle and lightly moisten the edges with a little water.

Place one sugared apple quarter in the center of the pastry.

Take a second rectangle and cut a small slit or two in the center (to allow steam to escape).

Place the second rectangle over the apple and press the edges to seal the parcel completely.

Use a fork to crimp the edges for a decorative touch and extra sealing power.

Repeat with remaining pastry pieces and apple quarters until you have 6 apple-filled parcels.

Step 5: Final Touches
Place all assembled Danishes onto the parchment-lined baking sheet, spaced slightly apart.

Sprinkle each one with a pinch of sugar for a lightly caramelized finish.

Step 6: Bake
Bake in the preheated oven for 12–15 minutes, or until:

The pastry is puffed up and golden brown

The tops are crisp and lightly caramelized

You may see a little sweet apple syrup oozing out — that’s flavor!

Step 7: Serve and Enjoy
Serve warm straight from the oven for best flavor and texture.

Optional upgrades:

Drizzle with warm caramel sauce

Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream

Dust with powdered sugar for elegance

Pairs beautifully with coffee, tea, or milk.

Storage & Reheating
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.

To reheat: Bake in a preheated oven at 325°F (165°C) for 5–7 minutes until warmed through and re-crisped.

Variations & Tips
Flavor boost: Add a pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg to the apples before sealing.

Fruity twist: Swap the apples with pears, peaches, or berries.

Cheesy version: Add a teaspoon of cream cheese underneath the apple before sealing.

Extra shine: Brush with a beaten egg before baking for a glossy golden finish.

These 3-ingredient Apple Danishes are fast, flaky, and delicious — perfect for lazy weekends, quick desserts, or last-minute guests. Let me know if you’d like a cream cheese version or a gluten-free twist!
