Ingredients

Instructions

Cut the cheese:

Cut mozzarella into sticks approximately 3–4 inches long and 1/2 inch thick.

Place them on a tray lined with parchment paper and freeze for at least 30 minutes. This helps prevent cheese from melting too quickly when cooking.

Prepare the coating stations:

Bowl 1: Whisk eggs with heavy cream.

Bowl 2: Mix almond flour, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and crushed pork rinds if using.

Coat the cheese sticks:

Dip each frozen mozzarella stick into the egg mixture.

Roll it in the almond flour mixture until fully coated.

For extra crispiness, double coat: dip back in egg and then almond flour mixture again.

Place coated sticks on a tray and freeze for another 15–20 minutes. This keeps the coating intact while cooking.

Cook the cheese sticks:
Frying Method:-
Heat about 1/4 inch of oil in a skillet to medium heat (~350°F).

Fry sticks 1–2 minutes per side until golden brown.

Remove and place on paper towels to drain.
Baking Method:

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

Place sticks on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

Spray lightly with cooking oil.

Bake for 8–10 minutes until golden and crispy.
