Keto Lettuce Wrap Burger

Time

  • Prep: 15 minutes
  • Cook: 10–15 minutes
  • Total: ~25–30 minutes

Ingredients (Serves 2–3)

Burger Patties

  • 500 g (1 lb) ground beef (80/20 for best flavor)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Optional: 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce (check for low sugar)

Wrap & Toppings

  • 6–8 large lettuce leaves (iceberg or romaine work best)
  • 1 tomato (sliced)
  • 1/2 onion (sliced)
  • 4–6 pickle slices (sugar-free)
  • 3–4 cheese slices (cheddar, Swiss, or American)
  • Optional: avocado slices

Keto Burger Sauce

  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon sugar-free ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika

Instructions

1. Prepare the patties

In a bowl, combine ground beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.

Mix gently and form into 3–4 patties.
Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent bulging.

2. Cook the patties

Heat a skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat.

Cook patties for about 4–5 minutes per side, depending on thickness.

Add cheese slices during the last minute so they melt.

Remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes.

3. Prepare lettuce wraps

Wash and dry lettuce leaves.

Use 2 overlapping leaves per burger for better support.

4. Make the sauce

In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, mustard, sugar-free ketchup, vinegar, garlic powder, and paprika until smooth.

5. Assemble the burger

Layer as follows:

  • Lettuce base
  • Burger patty with melted cheese
  • Tomato, onion, pickles
  • Sauce
  • Optional avocado

Wrap tightly using the lettuce.
