Vegan Cabbage Patties
π± Ingredients (makes ~10 patties)

3 cups green or napa cabbage, finely shredded

1 small carrot, grated

1 small onion or 2 scallions, finely chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

Β½ cup chickpea flour (or all-purpose flour)

ΒΌ cup breadcrumbs or oats

1 tsp soy sauce or tamari

Β½ tsp ground cumin
-
Β½ tsp smoked paprika

Salt & black pepper, to taste

2β3 tbsp water (as needed)

Oil for pan-frying

Prep the cabbage
Lightly salt the shredded cabbage and let sit 10 minutes. Squeeze out excess moisture. -
Mix
In a bowl, combine cabbage, carrot, onion, garlic, flour, breadcrumbs, spices, and soy sauce.
Add water gradually until the mixture holds together. -
Shape patties
Form small, flat patties with your hands. -
Cook
Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry patties 3β4 minutes per side until golden and crisp. -
Serve
Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
