🧾 Ingredients (4–6 servings)

Apple Filling

  • 4–5 medium apples, peeled & sliced

  • 2–3 tbsp brown sugar (or coconut sugar)

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • ΒΌ tsp nutmeg (optional)

  • 1 tbsp cornstarch (or flour)

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Crumble Topping

  • ΒΎ cup rolled oats

  • Β½ cup all-purpose flour

  • β…“ cup brown sugar

  • Β½ tsp cinnamon

  • Pinch of salt

  • β…“ cup coconut oil or vegan butter (solid, not melted)

  1. Preheat oven to 180Β°C / 350Β°F.

  2. Toss apples with sugar, lemon juice, spices, cornstarch, and vanilla.

  3. Spread apple mixture in a greased baking dish.

  4. In another bowl, mix oats, flour, sugar, cinnamon, and salt.

  5. Rub in coconut oil or vegan butter with fingers until crumbly.

  6. Sprinkle topping evenly over apples.

  7. Bake 35–40 minutes, until bubbling and golden on top.

  8. Rest 10 minutes before serving.
