No-Guilt Brownies (Healthier Version)

🧾 Ingredients (8–9 brownies)

  • 1 cup mashed ripe banana or unsweetened applesauce

  • ½ cup peanut butter or almond butter

  • ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 2–3 tbsp honey, maple syrup, or zero-cal sweetener (to taste)

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • ½ tsp baking powder

  • Pinch of salt

  • 2 tbsp dark chocolate chips (optional)


👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C / 350°F. Line a small baking pan.

  2. Mix banana/applesauce with nut butter until smooth.

  3. Stir in cocoa powder, sweetener, vanilla, baking powder, and salt.

  4. Fold in chocolate chips if using.

  5. Spread batter evenly in the pan.

  6. Bake 15–18 minutes (don’t overbake—keeps them fudgy).

  7. Cool before slicing.
