Vegan Garlic Fries

🧾 Ingredients (2–3 servings)

  • 4 large potatoes, cut into fries

  • 3 tbsp olive oil

  • 4–5 cloves garlic, finely minced

  • Salt to taste

  • Black pepper to taste

  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley or cilantro, chopped

  • Optional: chili flakes or paprika


👩‍🍳 Instructions

🔥 Oven Method (Crispy)

  1. Preheat oven to 220°C / 425°F.

  2. Soak potato fries in cold water 20–30 minutes (optional but helps crispiness).

  3. Drain and pat completely dry.

  4. Toss fries with olive oil, salt, and pepper.

  5. Spread in a single layer on a baking tray.

  6. Bake 35–40 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.

🍳 Garlic Finish

  1. Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a small pan.

  2. Add garlic and sauté 10–15 seconds (don’t brown).

  3. Toss hot fries with garlic oil, parsley, and chili flakes.


🍽️ Serving Ideas

  • With vegan mayo or ketchup

  • Sprinkle of nutritional yeast for “cheesy” flavor

  • Side for burgers or wraps
