🧺 Ingredients
Keto pie crust (fathead style):

1½ cups shredded mozzarella

2 tbsp cream cheese

¾ cup almond flour

1 egg
-
½ tsp salt
Meat filling:

250 g ground beef (or chicken)

1 tbsp butter or olive oil

½ small onion, very finely chopped (optional for strict keto)

2 cloves garlic, minced
-
½ cup mushrooms, finely chopped
-
1 tsp paprika
-
½ tsp black pepper
-
½ tsp dried thyme or oregano
-
Salt to taste

2 tbsp heavy cream or cream cheese
Optional topping:

Egg wash (1 egg beaten)

Sesame seeds (optional)

Make the crust
Melt mozzarella and cream cheese together (microwave or stovetop).
Stir in almond flour, egg, and salt. Knead until a soft dough forms.
Chill 10 minutes for easy handling. -
Cook the filling
Heat butter in a pan. Add meat and cook until browned.
Add onion (if using), garlic, mushrooms, and spices.
Stir in cream or cream cheese. Cook until thick. Cool slightly. -
Shape pies
Roll dough between parchment paper.
Cut circles. Spoon filling onto half, fold over, and seal edges. -
Bake
Place on lined tray. Brush with egg wash.
Bake at 190°C (375°F) for 15–20 minutes until golden. -
