Air Fryer Baked Potato
Ingredients
- 2–4 medium potatoes (russet-style work best)
- 1–2 tbsp oil
- Salt (coarse if you have it)
- Optional: pepper, garlic powder
Method
- Wash & dry
Scrub the potatoes clean and dry them thoroughly (dry skin = crispier). - Prep the skin
Rub each potato with oil, then sprinkle generously with salt. - Pierce
Use a fork to poke a few holes in each potato. - Air fry
Place in the air fryer basket (don’t overcrowd).
Cook at 200°C (400°F) for 35–45 minutes, flipping halfway. - Check doneness
A knife should slide in easily when they’re done.
Serving ideas
- Butter + salt (classic and unbeatable)
- Sour cream and chives
- Cheese and a sprinkle of chili flakes
- Stuffed with leftover chicken or veggies
Tips for best results
- Choose similar-sized potatoes so they cook evenly
- For extra crispy skin, cook 5 minutes longer at the end
- If they’re large, add 5–10 extra minutes
