Easy Air Fryer Egg on Toast

Ingredients

  • 1 slice of bread
  • 1 egg
  • 1–2 tsp butter (or oil)
  • Salt & pepper (to taste)
  • Optional: cheese, chili flakes, herbs

🍳 Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer
    Set it to 180°C (350°F) for about 2–3 minutes.
  2. Prepare the bread
    • Lightly flatten the center of the bread using a spoon (to create a small well).
    • Spread butter on the surface.
  3. Add the egg
    • Place the bread in the air fryer basket.
    • Crack the egg into the center (go slow so it doesn’t spill over).
  4. Season & customize
    • Sprinkle salt, pepper, and any extras like cheese or chili flakes.
  5. Air fry
    • Cook for 5–8 minutes depending on how runny you like the yolk.
  6. Serve hot
    • Carefully remove and enjoy immediately!

🔥 Tips

  • Use thicker bread to prevent sogginess.
  • If the egg spreads too much, crack it into a small cup first, then gently pour.
  • Add a slice of cheese halfway through for a melty finish.
