Crockpot Chicken and Gravy

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)
  • 2 packets chicken gravy mix
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup water or chicken broth
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp garlic powder (optional)
  • ½ tsp onion powder (optional)

Instructions

  1. Layer the chicken
    Place chicken in the bottom of your crockpot.
  2. Mix the gravy
    In a bowl, whisk together gravy mix, cream of chicken soup, water/broth, and seasonings.
  3. Pour & cook
    Pour mixture over the chicken.
    Cook on low for 6–7 hours or high for 3–4 hours.
  4. Shred the chicken
    Once tender, shred the chicken directly in the crockpot using two forks.
  5. Stir & serve
    Mix everything together so the chicken is coated in the gravy.

  • Over steamed rice
  • With mashed potatoes
  • On top of biscuits or toast

🔁 Optional Add-ins

  • Sautéed mushrooms for extra flavor
  • A splash of milk or cream for a richer gravy
  • Frozen peas or corn added in the last hour
