Creamy Cheesy Beef Bowtie Pasta

Ingredients

  • 250–300g bowtie pasta (farfalle)
  • 500g ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp oil or butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt & black pepper to taste
  • ½ tsp paprika (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta
    Boil bowtie pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Brown the beef
    Heat oil in a pan. Cook onion and garlic until soft.
    Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Make it creamy
    Lower heat. Stir in heavy cream and milk.
    Add Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 3–5 minutes.
  4. Add the cheese
    Stir in cheddar, mozzarella, and Parmesan until melted and smooth.
  5. Combine
    Add cooked pasta and toss until everything is well coated.
  6. Optional bake (extra cheesy top)
    Transfer to a baking dish, top with more cheese, and broil for 3–5 minutes until bubbly and golden.

🍽️ Tips

  • Use Farfalle for best texture—it holds the sauce well.
  • Add spinach or mushrooms for a veggie boost.
  • A pinch of chili flakes gives a nice kick.
