Air Fryer Cheesy Garlic Bites
Ingredients:
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella (or mozzarella + cheddar mix)
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (or 1 tbsp dried herbs)
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko works best)
- 2 tbsp grated Parmesan
- 1 egg, beaten
Instructions:
1. Make the mixture
In a bowl, combine mozzarella, cream cheese, garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
2. Form balls
Scoop and roll into small bite-sized balls.
👉 Tip: If the mixture is too soft, chill it in the fridge for 20–30 minutes first.
3. Coat
Dip each ball into the beaten egg, then roll in a mix of breadcrumbs + Parmesan for that crispy coating.
4. Air fry
- Preheat air fryer to 180°C (350°F)
- Lightly spray the basket and the balls with oil
- Air fry for 8–10 minutes, turning halfway, until golden and crispy
5. Serve
Serve hot with garlic aioli, ranch, or a creamy dip.
🔥 Tips:
- Don’t overcrowd the basket—cook in batches for best crispiness
- Freeze the balls for 10–15 minutes before air frying to help them hold shape
- Add a pinch of chili flakes for a spicy kick
