🥘 Keto Cottage Cheese Turkey Pepper Skillet

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp olive oil or butter

  • 450 g (1 lb) ground turkey

  • 1 small onion, finely chopped (optional, keep small for keto)

  • 1 bell pepper, sliced (any color)

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • ½ tsp cumin

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • Salt to taste

  • ¾–1 cup full-fat cottage cheese

  • ¼ cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar (optional but great)

  • Fresh parsley or green onions (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

  2. Add ground turkey, season with salt & pepper, and cook until browned.

  3. Add onion (if using), bell pepper, and garlic. Cook 4–5 minutes until soft.

  4. Stir in paprika and cumin; mix well.

  5. Lower heat and fold in cottage cheese. Stir gently until creamy and warmed (don’t boil).

  6. Add shredded cheese if using and let it melt.

  7. Taste, adjust seasoning, and garnish.
