Servings & Timing:
Servings: 2-4 (depending on portion size)
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 15–18 minutes
Ingredients:
1 bag shelled edamame (frozen or fresh)
Olive oil spray (or your preferred oil)
1/2 tsp garlic salt
2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
Optional: black pepper, red pepper flakes, or lemon zest for added flavor
Instructions:
Prepare the Edamame:
Rinse the shelled edamame under cold water and pat them dry thoroughly with a paper towel. This step is important for achieving the maximum crispiness in the air fryer.
Preheat the Air Fryer:
Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 2-3 minutes.
Air Fry the Edamame:
Place the dry edamame in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Spray them lightly with olive oil. Cook for 15–18 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even crisping.
Season the Edamame:
After the edamame are crispy and golden, remove them from the air fryer. Immediately toss them in garlic salt and grated Parmesan cheese while still warm.
Cool and Serve:
Let the edamame cool slightly to allow them to crisp up further. Serve as a snack, appetizer, or side dish.
Additional Notes:
Substitutions:
If you prefer a vegan version, simply skip the Parmesan or replace it with nutritional yeast for a cheesy flavor.

Add a sprinkle of chili powder or paprika for some heat.
