 Easy Creamy Baked Milk Custard Cake
📝 Ingredients
4 large eggs
1 cup (200g) sugar
½ cup (120ml) melted butter
4 cups (1 liter) warm milk
1 cup (125g) all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
👩‍🍳 Instructions
Preheat oven
350°F (180°C). Grease a round baking dish (8–9 inches).
Beat eggs & sugar
In a large bowl, whisk eggs and sugar until light and slightly frothy.
Add butter & vanilla
Mix in melted butter and vanilla.
Add flour
Sift in flour and salt. Mix until smooth.
Slowly add warm milk
Gradually pour in warm milk while whisking.
(The batter will be very thin — that’s normal!)
Bake
Pour into the prepared dish.
Bake 45–60 minutes until the top is golden and the center is just set.
Cool completely
Let it cool at room temperature, then refrigerate 2–3 hours for clean slices.
