Ingredients

For the Steak

  • 500 g flank steak, ribeye, or sirloin (thinly sliced)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp cumin
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce (optional)

For the Creamy Jalapeño Popper Filling

  • 200 g cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 fresh jalapeños, finely diced
  • 3 strips beef or turkey bacon, cooked crispy and crumbled
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 2 tbsp sour cream
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp chopped chives or green onions
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

For the Wraps

Choose one:

  • Large romaine or iceberg lettuce leaves
    or
  • Keto tortillas / low-carb wraps

Optional Toppings

  • Avocado slices
  • Pickled jalapeños
  • Extra cheddar
  • Hot sauce
  • Cilantro
  • Lime wedges

Step 1: Prepare the Jalapeño Popper Filling

In a bowl combine:

  • Cream cheese
  • Cheddar cheese
  • Jalapeños
  • Crumbled bacon
  • Garlic
  • Sour cream
  • Mayonnaise
  • Chives

Mix until creamy and evenly combined.

Taste and adjust:

  • More jalapeño for extra heat
  • More cheddar for richness
  • Salt and pepper as needed

Refrigerate while cooking steak.


Step 2: Season the Steak

Pat steak dry.

Mix together:

  • Smoked paprika
  • Garlic powder
  • Onion powder

Cook steak:

If using keto tortillas:

  • Heat for 15–20 seconds in a dry skillet or microwave.

If using lettuce:

  • Wash and dry leaves thoroughly.

Step 5: Assemble the Wraps

Spread a generous layer of jalapeño popper filling onto the wrap or lettuce leaf.

Top with:

  • Sliced steak
  • Avocado
  • Extra jalapeños
  • Hot sauce or cilantro if desired

Roll tightly.
