Keto Krispy Kreme Donuts (Low-Carb)

Ingredients

Donuts

  • 1½ cups almond flour

  • ¼ cup coconut flour

  • ⅓ cup powdered erythritol or monk fruit sweetener

  • 1 tbsp baking powder

  • ¼ tsp salt

  • 3 large eggs, room temperature

  • ⅓ cup unsweetened almond milk (or coconut milk)

  • ¼ cup melted butter (or coconut oil)

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Glaze

  • ½ cup powdered erythritol or monk fruit sweetener

  • 2–3 tbsp heavy cream (or almond milk)

  • ½ tsp vanilla extract


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
    Lightly grease a donut pan.

  2. Mix dry ingredients
    In a large bowl, whisk almond flour, coconut flour, sweetener, baking powder, and salt.

  3. Mix wet ingredients
    In a separate bowl, whisk eggs, almond milk, melted butter, and vanilla until smooth.

  4. Combine

    • Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients.

    • Mix until a thick, smooth batter forms.

  5. Fill donut pan

    • Spoon or pipe batter into donut cavities, filling about ¾ full.

  6. Bake

    • Bake for 12–15 minutes, until lightly golden and set.

    • Let cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a rack.

  7. Make the glaze

    • Whisk powdered sweetener, cream, and vanilla until smooth.

    • Adjust thickness by adding more cream if needed.

  8. Glaze the donuts

    • Dip cooled donuts into the glaze.

    • Let glaze set for 10–15 minutes.


Tips for That “Krispy” Feel

  • Use powdered sweetener only—granulated will taste gritty.

  • Let donuts cool completely before glazing.

  • For extra softness, store in an airtight container overnight.
