Vegan Taco Pizza

🍕 Pizza Base

  • 1 pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)

  • ½ cup vegan refried beans or black beans (mashed)


🌮 Taco “Meat”

  • 1 cup cooked lentils or plant-based crumbles

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tbsp taco seasoning

  • 2–3 tbsp water

Sauté lentils/crumbles with oil, seasoning, and water until well coated.


🧀 Toppings

  • ¾–1 cup shredded vegan cheese

  • ½ cup cherry tomatoes, halved

  • ¼ cup red onion, thinly sliced

  • ½ cup corn (optional)

  • Sliced jalapeños (optional)


🌿 Fresh After-Bake Toppings

  • Shredded lettuce

  • Diced avocado or guacamole

  • Cilantro


🥑 Sauce Drizzle (Optional)

  • Vegan sour cream or

  • Creamy avocado sauce (avocado + lime + plant milk)


🔥 Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).

  2. Roll dough and place on a lined baking sheet or pizza stone.

  3. Spread beans evenly over dough.

  4. Add taco “meat,” cheese, and baked toppings.

  5. Bake 12–15 minutes, until crust is golden and cheese melts.

  6. Add fresh toppings and drizzle sauce.
