WW-Style Burger Bombs
These lighter “burger bombs” are soft biscuit- or dough-wrapped mini cheeseburgers baked until golden. This WW-style version keeps portions moderate while still delivering classic cheeseburger flavor.

Ingredients
Filling
- 1 lb lean ground beef (93% lean recommended)
- 1 small onion, finely diced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp yellow mustard
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
Cheese
- 4 slices reduced-fat cheddar cheese, cut into quarters
or - ½ cup reduced-fat shredded cheddar
Dough
Choose one:
Option 1 (Lower-Point Shortcut)
- 1 can reduced-fat biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
Option 2 (Homemade Greek Yogurt Dough)
- 1 cup self-rising flour
- 1 cup plain nonfat Greek yogurt
Topping
- 1 egg, beaten
- Sesame seeds (optional)
- Everything bagel seasoning (optional)
Optional Burger-Style Add-Ins
Finely chopped:
- pickles
- turkey bacon
- jalapeños
Equipment
- Baking sheet
- Parchment paper
- Skillet
- Mixing bowl
Instructions
1. Prepare Filling
Heat a skillet over medium heat.
Cook:
- onion
for 3–4 minutes until softened.
Add:
- garlic
Cook 30 seconds.
Add:
- lean ground beef
- Worcestershire sauce
- mustard
- salt
- pepper
- paprika
Cook until browned and fully cooked.
Drain excess liquid if needed.
Cool slightly.
2. Prepare Dough
If Using Biscuit Dough
- Separate biscuits and flatten each into a 4–5 inch circle.
If Using Greek Yogurt Dough
Mix:
- self-rising flour
- Greek yogurt
until dough forms.
Knead lightly for 1–2 minutes.
Divide into:
- 8 portions
Roll each into circles.
3. Fill the Bombs
Place in center of each dough circle:
- 2–3 tbsp beef mixture
- piece of cheese
Add optional toppings if desired.
Pull dough edges up and pinch tightly to seal.
Place seam-side down on prepared baking sheet.
4. Add Topping
Brush tops with:
- beaten egg
Sprinkle with:
- sesame seeds
or - everything seasoning
5. Bake
Preheat oven to:
- 375°F (190°C)
Bake:
- 18–22 minutes
until golden brown.
6. Serve
Cool:
- 5 minutes
before serving.

Mix together:
Light Burger Sauce
- 2 tbsp light mayo
- 1 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tsp mustard
- diced pickles
Spicy Sauce
- Greek yogurt
- hot sauce
- paprika

- Use extra-lean beef or ground turkey.
- Reduced-fat cheese lowers points.
- Greek yogurt dough is usually lighter than canned biscuit dough.
- Add finely diced vegetables for more volume.
