Keto Beef & Bean Gratin

🥣 Ingredients (serves 4)

  • 1 lb (450 g) ground beef

  • 1 tbsp olive oil or butter

  • 1 small onion, finely chopped (optional)

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 cup black soybeans (drained)
    or 1½ cups green beans, blanched

  • ½ cup heavy cream

  • ½ cup cream cheese

  • 1½ cups shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or mix)

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • Salt, to taste

Optional: chili flakes, Italian seasoning, mushrooms


🍳 Instructions

  1. Preheat oven
    Preheat to 190°C / 375°F. Grease a baking dish.

  2. Cook beef
    Heat oil in a pan. Brown ground beef until cooked.
    Add onion (if using) and garlic; cook 1–2 minutes.

  3. Make it creamy
    Lower heat. Stir in cream cheese and heavy cream until smooth.

  4. Add beans & cheese
    Mix in soybeans or green beans, paprika, pepper, and salt.
    Stir in half the shredded cheese.

  5. Bake
    Transfer to baking dish.
    Top with remaining cheese.
    Bake 20–25 minutes until bubbly and golden.

  6. Rest & serve
    Let sit 5 minutes before serving.
