🌱 Vegan Chickpea Balls
Crispy outside, tender inside—perfect as snacks, in wraps, or with pasta

🧺 Ingredients

1½ cups cooked chickpeas (drained & rinsed)

½ cup breadcrumbs (or oats, pulsed)

2 tbsp nutritional yeast (optional, cheesy flavor)

2 cloves garlic, minced
-
1 small onion, finely chopped
-
2 tbsp parsley or coriander, chopped
-
1 tsp cumin powder
-
½ tsp paprika
-
Salt & pepper, to taste

1–2 tbsp olive oil
-
1–2 tbsp lemon juice
🥣 Instructions

Mash or pulse chickpeas until mostly smooth (some texture is good).

Add remaining ingredients and mix until a firm, scoopable mixture forms.

Shape into small balls.

Cook your way:

Pan-fry: Shallow-fry in oil, turning until golden on all sides.

Bake: 200°C / 400°F for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway.

Air-fry: 190°C / 375°F for 12–15 minutes.
