Oven Method (most reliable)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C)
- Place frozen chicken breasts in a baking dish
- Drizzle with olive oil and season (salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika)
- Cover with foil (helps keep moisture in)
- Bake for 45–55 minutes
- Uncover for the last 10 minutes to lightly brown
✔️ Done when internal temp hits 165°F (74°C)
🍗 Air Fryer Method (faster)
- Preheat to 360°F (182°C)
- Lightly oil and season frozen chicken
- Cook for 20 minutes, flip, then cook another 10–15 minutes
- Check temperature (165°F inside)
🍗 Instant Pot (quickest & juicy)
- Add 1 cup water or broth
- Place frozen chicken on trivet
- Cook on High Pressure for 10–12 minutes
- Natural release 5 minutes, then quick release
🔥 Important tips
- Don’t cook frozen chicken in a slow cooker (unsafe temp range too long)
- Add sauces (BBQ, teriyaki, etc.) near the end so they don’t burn
- Pound or slice after cooking if you need even pieces
