Blueberry Cream Cheese Spread
Ingredients
- 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
- 1/3 cup blueberry jam or blueberry compote
- 2–3 tbsp powdered sugar (optional, to taste)
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Optional (for homemade blueberry swirl):
- 1 cup blueberries
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp lemon juice
Instructions
- Make blueberry swirl (optional)
In a small pan, cook blueberries, sugar, and lemon juice over medium heat for 5–7 minutes until thick and jammy. Cool completely. - Mix cream cheese base
Beat softened cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar, vanilla, and salt. Mix until creamy. - Swirl together
Fold in blueberry jam/compote gently—don’t fully mix if you want a marbled look. - Chill (optional)
Refrigerate for 15–30 minutes for a firmer spread.
