Banana Yogurt Oat Mug Cake
Ingredients
- 1 ripe banana
- ¼ cup rolled oats (or oat flour)
- ¼ cup non-fat Greek yogurt
- 1 egg
- ½ tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- ½ tsp cinnamon (optional)
- Pinch of salt
Optional add-ins:
- Sugar-free chocolate chips
- Blueberries
- A drizzle of honey (if not strict low-cal)
🍯 Instructions
- Mash or blend
Mash the banana in a mug or small bowl until smooth. - Mix ingredients
Add egg, yogurt, oats, baking powder, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt. Stir well until fully combined. - Microwave
Cook in the microwave for 1½ to 2½ minutes (depending on wattage).
The cake should rise and set in the center. - Cool slightly
Let it sit for 1–2 minutes before eating—it firms up as it cools.
🍽️ Tips
- Use very ripe bananas for natural sweetness
- Don’t overcook or it can get rubbery
- For smoother texture, blend oats into flour first

- Chocolate version: add 1 tbsp cocoa powder
