Ingredients

  • 2 cans refrigerated cinnamon rolls (quartered, icing reserved)
  • 3 eggs
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp cinnamon (optional, for extra flavor)
  • ¼ cup maple syrup or brown sugar

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Prep oven
    Preheat to 180°C / 350°F and grease a baking dish.
  2. Layer rolls
    Spread the quartered cinnamon roll pieces evenly in the dish.
  3. Mix custard
    Whisk eggs, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, and syrup/sugar.
  4. Pour & soak
    Pour mixture over the rolls, making sure all pieces are coated.
  5. Bake
    Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden and set.
  6. Finish
    Drizzle with the reserved icing while warm.

  • Chopped apples or pecans
  • Raisins or chocolate chips
  • Cream cheese cubes for richness

💡 Tips

  • Let it sit 5–10 minutes before baking so the rolls absorb the mixture
  • Cover with foil halfway through if it browns too fast
