Preheat oven to 220°C / 425°F.

Toss broccoli with olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper.

Spread in a single layer on a baking tray.

Roast 15–18 minutes until edges are crispy.

Remove from oven, sprinkle parmesan.

Return to oven 3–5 minutes until cheese melts and browns.

Finish with chili flakes or lemon if using.
