🍎 Vegan Apple Crisp (Easy, Cozy & Comforting)

🍏 Ingredients
Apple Filling

5–6 apples (Granny Smith or Fuji), peeled & sliced

2 tbsp lemon juice

⅓ cup brown sugar

1 tsp cinnamon

¼ tsp nutmeg

1 tbsp cornstarch
-
1 tsp vanilla extract
Crisp Topping
-
1 cup rolled oats
-
¾ cup all-purpose flour (or whole wheat)

½ cup brown sugar
-
½ tsp cinnamon
-
Pinch of salt

⅓ cup coconut oil (solid) or vegan butter
👩🍳 Method

Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Lightly grease a baking dish.

Mix apples with lemon juice, sugar, spices, cornstarch & vanilla. Spread evenly in dish.

Make topping:
Combine oats, flour, sugar, cinnamon & salt. Rub in coconut oil/vegan butter until crumbly. -
Assemble:
Sprinkle topping evenly over apples. -
Bake for 35–40 minutes until bubbly and golden.

Rest 10 minutes, then serve warm.
