🔥 Charred Asparagus

Crispy • Smoky • Ready in 10 Minutes

🥣 Ingredients

  • 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed

  • 1–2 tbsp olive oil

  • Salt, to taste

  • Black pepper, to taste

  • Optional: garlic powder, lemon, chili flakes


👩‍🍳 Instructions

Stovetop (Best Char)

  1. Heat a heavy pan or cast-iron skillet on high heat.

  2. Toss asparagus with olive oil, salt, and pepper.

  3. Add asparagus in a single layer.

  4. Cook 2–3 minutes without moving until nicely charred.

  5. Flip and cook another 2–3 minutes until tender-crisp.

Oven / Broiler Option

  • Broil on high for 6–8 minutes, turning once.


✨ Finishing Touches

  • Squeeze of lemon juice

  • Shaved parmesan

  • Drizzle of garlic butter

  • Sprinkle of sea salt flakes


🧠 Tips

  • High heat = real char

  • Don’t overcrowd the pan

  • Slight crunch is perfect—don’t overcook
