Keto Cheese Buns

🧀🥯 Keto Cheese Buns (Low-Carb & Soft)

🧺 Ingredients

  • 1½ cups shredded mozzarella (or mild cheddar)

  • 2 tbsp cream cheese

  • 1 cup almond flour

  • 2 tsp baking powder

  • 2 large eggs

  • ½ tsp salt

  • 1 tbsp butter or olive oil

Optional toppings:

  • Sesame seeds

  • Garlic butter

  • Extra cheese


👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Melt cheeses
    Melt mozzarella and cream cheese together until smooth.

  2. Mix dough
    Stir in almond flour, baking powder, salt, butter, and eggs.
    Mix until a thick dough forms.

  3. Shape buns
    Divide into 6 portions. Shape into smooth buns and place on lined tray.

  4. Top (optional)
    Sprinkle sesame seeds or extra cheese.

  5. Bake
    Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 18–22 minutes until golden and puffed.

  6. Cool slightly & enjoy
    Slice once warm—not hot—for best texture.

  • Wet hands = easier shaping

  • For lighter buns, separate eggs and fold in whipped whites

  • Toast before serving for bakery-style texture
